Dr. Szmuilowicz graduated from Harvard Medical School after studying Human Biology at Stanford University. She completed her Fellowship in Endocrinology as well as her residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. She also completed a Master’s Degree in Epidemiology from the Harvard School of Public Health.
Her clinical interests are in general endocrinology, including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, menopause, calcium/parathyroid disorders, adrenal disease, pituitary disorders, hypogonadism, hirsutism (excessive body hair), polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and lipid disorders.
